Last Day!

Thursday, March 24th, 2005

So the boss man tells me they aren’t going to compensate me for my lousy 12.5 hours of unused PTO. Okay, fine, be cheap. I’ll just take the damn time off and leave a day and a half early.

Oh but wait, now we want to give you the PTO, can you stay through to the end of the week?

How about no, how does that sound? Does no work for you? Works for me.

Beginnings and Endings

Thursday, March 10th, 2005

What a great way to start this thing! I just accepted a very nice offer from a company, that by all reports, simply rocks. I’m looking forward to starting there and hope that it’s as good as everyone says it is.

I put in my notice at work today. I was going to wait until tomorrow and do it all professional like, but I just couldn’t see any reason for waiting. If I don’t get out of there soon, I may end up blowing the place up.

I told one of my co-workers that I come home from work feeling violated. That pretty much describes my day. My evening is spent trying to get over the day, with little to no luck. But those days are soon over. My last day is the 25th. Yay!
