Monday Bitching
Fuck me runnin’, I hate Mondays. No, really, hate them.
I had a really wonderful weekend, full of laying about doing as little as possible (despite rumors to the contrary about some domestic goddess bullshit.)
On Friday night Tetris made the most wonderful dinner (still owes me on that Steak Diane thing though, but it’ll happen) and I didn’t have to do anything. I almost gnawed my hands off trying like hell to stay out of the kitchen. It is so hard for me to not do stuff, I mean, there’s always something that needs to be done! But my job was to sit on the couch and play with the cats. You have no idea what a chore that was! To just… sit there. It was exhausting! No, really, it was. Stop laughing!
He’s got me hooked on Lost (yeah, yeah, I know, old news) and we’ve been busy watching the first season. I’m wickedly detail oriented so it appeals to me. So now there are three whole shows I like to watch, and none of which I watch when they are actually on. I watch BSG on Monday nights, make a lame attempt to catch up on Boston Legal on Tuesday nights, and absolutely refuse to tune into the current season of Lost until I’ve viewed every single past episode. Goddess bless DVRs.
Went out for a bit Saturday night and had ever so yummy margaritas. Damn near bit the waiter’s hand off when he moved my platter of guacamole and queso to the other side of the table. Don’t think he was expecting that! But damn, dude, I’m eating here! Do not get between me and my food. Ever!
So yeah, nice weekend. Good company, good food, and if a little rain kept us inside on Sunday, well, I’m not complaining!
And then, this morning.
Got up on time for a change, with enough time for, well, let’s just say I got up on time. Yay me! And then traffic was a breeze, so no complaints there, either. It was nice and quiet in the office when I got in, so I was able to get a lot done this morning.
Wait, don’t I usually bitch about something? I’m sure I’ll find something, let’s move on to lunch.
Tetris came and got me, and we headed off to my favorite Thai place, but changed our minds and headed to Skewers for kababs instead. The chicken kababs make for a very happy Sabre. And the company? Well, obviously I’m rather fond of his company or I wouldn’t consistently keep it, now would I?
Damn, wait, I’m trying to find something to bitch about. No luck there.
My work load is hectic, but nothing terribly mind boggling, so nothing to bitch about there.
GDI, there must be something.
Eh, I give up kids. I have absolutely no complaints today. All is well in Wonderland.
Fucking Mondays, always throwing me for a loop.
