Is “diametrically opposed” canceling itself out?
Diametrically is to be on opposite sides.
Opposed is to be on opposite sides.
Is that like some weird double negative that I just can’t shake? Would it be more appropriate to be diametrically posed?
Although, that does lead one to have odd visions in their head. *headscratch*
